Weekday mornings are the quietest
The service was good, but they only serve one plate of rice for three people. They were missing a beer with three straws. There's nothing like enjoying a drink with a tapa.
Since María and Miguel, the former owners, left this bar and changed the waiters, the place has become a disaster. You can tell the current waiters are paid to do nothing, because they're terrible. They give you dirty looks if you ask for more, they're hard-pressed to serve you, and they have disgusted expressions. They take a long time to take your order, you call them over, and they get angry. They just chat, leaning against the window, not checking to see if anyone is coming or not. The portions leave a lot to be desired; the prices have gone up and the portion sizes have gone down. Plus, the quality is extremely low: undercooked potatoes, frozen chicken, burnt tempura. They don't even know how to pour a beer properly. I already gave this bar a good review because we were regulars and sometimes had breakfast and lunch here, but as soon as these people took over the bar, we stopped going because of the poor service. From having a full terrace on a Sunday to being completely empty. It must mean something.
Excellent service and friendliness from the waiters, great atmosphere and snacks, ideal place to be with family and friends, very attentive and quiet
On Sunday we went we ate this horrible appetizer rice, the worst thing in life not even the chickens eat it, today we went Tuesday and a short Latina waitress was screaming and throwing tables and chairs around the whole time we were there, this girl is super rude, the truth is you have to be patient to put up with a person like that, so obstinate, the rest of us are not to blame for her problems, she is impertinent, disrespectful to people, on Sunday she told a lady that her son would no longer serve her and her son next to her, and to an older person she told her that she should buy her a tinto de verano in order to serve him and what’s wrong with this person??? Why do the owners allow this attitude with the clients, let’s get down to business, because why??? Hello, do you think she’s better than the clients? Nobody is better than anyone else… let’s not allow disrespect from anyone, okay????????
A good place to grab a drink and quench your thirst on a spacious terrace. It's not exactly quiet, though, because when people gather, they tend to raise their voices to hear each other. The bar staff are friendly, and everything is quite clean. The food is average but tasty and reasonably priced. I'd describe it as basic fare at a good price.
