Visited Notes Coffee Roasters & Bar in Crossrail Place with my mum today and had such a lovely experience. We were looked after by a waiter called Ash, who was incredibly kind, thoughtful and genuinely attentive throughout our visit. He took the time to chat with us, made sure we had everything we needed and created a really warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our tea was great and the whole interaction turned a simple coffee stop into a really memorable moment. Thank you, Ash, for making our day brighter.
Really nice coffee Smooth and tasty. Akshaya was very friendly and made the experience even better. Would definitely come back!
Coffee review- visited this place early in the morning before the way to office in Canary wharf. Received warm welcome by the staff. Filter coffee suggested by him was nice. Ambience and location is great. Place is just next to cross rail station's exit. If you are one who likes to take life easy from time to time and enjoy the pace of corporate world going around you, then a window seat here is the place to be. Enjoy you coffee, the music and see bankers in formal suits/skirts passby. And yes, from time to time you will see runners/gymmers as well, to remind you about your workouts. Enjoy your coffee.
The moment we walked in, we loved the vibe—chill atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff. We arrived a little after 8pm, not realizing they closed at 9, but nobody rushed us. We ordered a cheese board, the aubergine starter, and a bottle of Viognier. The wine list is impressive, with plenty of options at very reasonable prices. The Viognier was fantastic, and both dishes were delicious. Even as the place closed down, the team kindly let us linger. They tidied up around us, but we were able to finish our wine and enjoy the evening. Clean space, great food, and super lovely staff—definitely recommend.
Convenient location with a nice atmosphere and good vibe. We visited for a Saturday brunch and were pleasantly surprised. The place was quite busy, so we were seated at the high chairs—not the most comfortable, but at least there was a place to hang our bags. The tables are quite close together, which makes the space feel a bit cramped. Service was quick and helpful, and the menu had some interesting options. The food was delicious, though the portions were a bit smaller than expected. Overall, a pleasant experience—great for a casual brunch, but be prepared for a lively and slightly tight space!
