Super different tasty dish. Ingredients & their combination was top-notch. I liked the menu & wanna try everything else on that. Chai latte was too sweet.
One of Dublin’s Best Brunch Spots Urbanity’s ambience is modern, elegant, and effortlessly cool. It continues to deliver one of the best brunches in Dublin with its seasonal menu — and, most importantly, it’s consistently excellent. I’ve been many times, and it never disappoints. On my latest visit, I had the scrambled eggs — perfectly cloudy in texture — with grilled wild mushrooms, mushroom ketchup, and smoked almonds. Simple, beautifully balanced, and absolutely delicious. My oat milk latte was spot-on too. All of this was complemented
Quite disappointed. When we arrived, we waited about 25 minutes before anyone came to take our order. It wasn’t until we started looking around for someone that the barista noticed and informed a server, and even then it took another 10 minutes for her to come over. This wasn’t due to the restaurant being full—everyone else already had their food, and it was just us and another group who arrived after us still waiting. The server herself was kind, so this isn’t a comment on her attitude. Then came the food. The menu mentioned shiitake mushrooms, but the dish came with only a few broken pieces—not very honest, and it certainly doesn’t justify the €20 price tag. The other ingredients were just squash, eggs, and bread. It was tasty, but not €20-tasty. Slice offers much better dishes for less. The noise level was also terrible. If you’re sensitive to loud environments, I’d definitely avoid coming here after 12 p.m.
I absolutely loved Urbanity! I tried their **mushroom brunch**, and it honestly stood out from any other I’ve had in Dublin. It’s the *only place* where I’ve seen the chefs actually take the time to use **four or five different types of mushrooms** in one dish — each with a unique flavor and texture that made the plate feel really special. The presentation was beautiful, the ingredients tasted super fresh, and the atmosphere was cozy yet modern. Perfect spot for a weekend brunch or a relaxed catch-up with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍄☕🥑
You can make up your breakfast which is great as the menu is not your traditional one, seems to have lots of alternative options. Not much space between the seats. Seems to be a popular spot, hence was crowdy. Pricey as well as I spent around 35 euros for breakfast for two. I enjoyed my eggs , sourdough bread was quite dry. Seems like a shop bought one.
