Such a lovely coffee shop! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious, and everything was beautifully presented. A special mention to Julio, our server, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. His service really made the experience extra special. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommended!

My partner and I came to Póg for lunch the other day and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The place was full when we arrived, so we waited outside for about 10 minutes for a table (this Póg location offers walk-ins only). We ordered the chicken burger, avocado toast, and the “post workout” pancakes, which were all very delicious. The flavours were well balanced, and everything felt nicely put together rather than overly heavy. Portions were generous enough considering the price. The only hiccup was timing with the drinks. They took longer than expected and arrived after the food. That said, our waiter noticed without us prompting, followed up straight away, and checked in with the barista which we appreciated.  One important note for anyone with allergies. My boyfriend has a hazelnut allergy, which we mentioned when placing the order. After trying one of the dishes, he had a mild reaction (slight lip swelling and some tingling in his throat). Thankfully it passed quickly, as he is not anaphylactic. We flagged it with our waiter, who immediately checked with the kitchen and confirmed there were no hazelnuts in the food. It was a concerning moment, but we appreciated how quickly it was taken seriously and how it was handled. We are still unsure of what could have caused the reaction. Overall, it was a lovely lunch with great food, good value and attentive service. We would happily come back. 

They absolutely smashed it! Someone from a different café recommended Póg for the pancakes and we thanked them afterwards. The food at Póg was incredible, the staff so kind and the atmosphere was great. Excellent experience! Absolutely recommend🥰

Everything about the place was absolutely amazing, the server we had was super sweet & lovely, he definitely gave us a warm welcome to Dublin. We had Vincent as our server and honestly hope others get to experience his service, we all loved him and found him to be the best x

We had breakfast here and the service was absolutely excellent. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly, which made the whole experience even better. In fact, it was so good that we came back the very next morning—and were treated just as kindly the second time. We tried the pancakes, banana bread, and French toast, and everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The location right by the water adds a lovely touch, and the atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and very enjoyable. All in all, this place is a gem for breakfast—great food, friendly service, and a wonderful setting. Definitely worth a visit (or two!).
