Independent contemporary coffee shop with specialty gourmet cakes and seating over 2 floors....
I suppose the poor service and bad mood of the staff are meant to be part of the experience, not that I enjoyed it. I was given the wrong coffee and the situation was handled with an attitude that made it feel like I was somehow to blame. POV: I order a flat white and a latte, pay, and wait. After about three minutes, the barista looks at me and shouts “flat white”. I take it and start drinking while waiting for the latte. Then the girl at the till asks a woman next to me what she’s waiting for, and she replies, “oat flat white”. The staff member then looks at me and says I took the wrong flat white. I explain that no one said it was oat. In a firm tone, she replies, “yes, that is the oat flat white,” rolls her eyes, and says she’ll make another one. I continue waiting for the flat white and latte I originally ordered. Eventually, I receive a latte and a flat white topped with what was clearly leftover latte foam. In the end, the coffee itself is good, but I personally prefer a friendlier atmosphere.
Very nice oat latte and matcha latte we had in this coffee shop in the heart of city centre. Place is crowded and people were waiting in queue just to get a coffee. But it was definitely worth waiting.
Well, coffee was good and second floor was nice to enjoy. I would say that kindness is little bit more necessary. All people are not native speakers so sometimes cannot understand well if saying so fast.
I ordered two iced Americanos and two desserts. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was a bit disappointed with the taste of the coffee. The café wasn’t crowded, which was nice, but the overall atmosphere felt a little lacking. Still, the staff were friendly and kind😊
Delicious coffee, expertly brewed--one of the best in south Dublin. I don't recommend the matcha lattes--they're on the weak side. Lovely seating upstairs and down. Note: no laptops on weekends.
