Perfect stop for a quick coffee and pastry. The coffee was very good and the shop itself is very cute.

I love going to both Zanzibar Locke and Beckett Locke for coffee, food and work. The staff are extremely friendly and the decor/atmosphere is perfect. My only disappointment is the food. I've heard the breakfast in Beckett Locke is gorgeous, but it ends at 12pm. The vegetarian sandwiches in both cafes (caprese and falafel) are fine, but very bread heavy. I think it would be great if the cafe extended breakfast throughout the day for more options or added more lunch options. The falafel may be better suited to a wrap with hummus opposed to ciabatta, as falafels are generally quite dry. Maybe soup, salad and avocado toast would be nice additions to the lunch menu? The pastries/cakes are all lovely! But for a meal, I find the menu a little disappointing, which is a shame because I love going to both cafes!

Their coffee is exceptional—rich, flavourful, and made to perfection. The selection of pastries is just as impressive, offering the perfect complement to any drink (I recommend the almond croissant). What truly sets this place apart are the incredible Hello Charlie ladies—they are warm, friendly, and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Their service added a personal touch that made each visit even better. If you're ever in the area, Hello Charlie is a must-stop for great coffee and even greater hospitality!
