On a miserable wet night it was a relief to arrive in the modern but cosy Craft restaurant. From the warm and professional way we were greeted we knew we had chosen well. And the food and service more than lived up to the welcome. Everything was delicious but a special mention of the gnocchi main course. A beautiful medley of vegetables, mushrooms, seeds and gnocchi. This was the highlight for me. Give it a go.
Really enjoyed our meal in Craft. We started by sharing the marinated olives, smoked almonds, ham hock croquettes and the brown bread, all perfect for sharing and full of flavour. For mains we had the beef ragu and two Sunday roasts and everything was excellent. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great food. Will definitely be back.
Craft Restaurant is a neighbourhood gem! It had been many years since I last ate in the restaurant, it’s tucked away in Harold’s Cross and often slips my mind that it’s there. I recently went for lunch on a Sunday and was not disappointed! The quality of food and creativity in the dishes was incredible, and the wine list was extensive, especially the choice of wine by the glass, which is not always the case in some restaurants. Given constant rising current costs in the industry, I found the value for money very good. Most notably, the service was attentive, warm and friendly, their front of house team are great. There was a thoughtful gesture for a birthday in the group as well. Thank you all for a lovely meal, I’ll be back to try more soon, their various menu offerings during the week seem to offer great value, next on the list to try. A restaurant not to be missed!
We’ve been twice and absolutely loved it. The chef’s menu is a great way to share and sample a variety of beautifully prepared dishes—standouts were the lamb ragù pasta and the elderflower panna cotta, but everything was top notch. Portions are generous, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and Justina was incredibly kind and helpful with our booking and throughout the evening (although all staff are kind and friendly). Highly recommend!
I've been wanting to test Craft for years. Many years. Before the pandemic I think. But for some reason it never felt the right time to choose a fine looking restaurant so close to home. We finally did, together with a couple of friends . We enjoyed the dinner, quite a bit. Most of that was due to the company. I don't think it would have been the same had we gone as a couple or for solo dining. The place is warm and the lights have a great color. The menu has the right amount of options: not too restricted but also not overwhelming. The food tasted nice but not exceptional. The mini arancini were very tasty. The bread instead was mediocre. My main tasted nice but frankly too expensive for the very limited amount of meat it offered. The personnel was super friendly and we found a lovely touch that in the final bill left a handmade note in Italian to acknowledge some of us were Italian.
