Specialist chocolatier and coffee chain, serving handmade sweets, pastries and sandwiches....
Here today Sunday 28th at 1.30pm and received quite rude service when ordering from the blonde woman, she threw my chocolate on the counter nowhere near me, extremely disorganised service in general, there was also an elderly man who was sitting and waiting a long time for his hot chocolate.
Awesome hot chocolate and carrot cake. Iago the cashier is very cute too. Will definitely come back and the price of the chocolates sre so reasonable. No wonder there is a line. Perfect gift for friends and family
One of the most famous chocolate store and cafe in Dublin, but it’s obviously too busy and noisy for a drink here.
There was a time when it was difficult to find a good cup of coffee in Dublin. That time is now well past, with places like Butlers Chocolate Cafe that offer wonderful coffee, like the cappucino I enjoyed there this morning along with a pecan tart. The place was jumping and seating was hard to find, an indicator of how good its products are. Fortunately, I found a good outside table and enjoyed sipping my coffee, nibbling my tart, and watching shoppers and tourists walk by.
Review for Butler’s Chocolate Café ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Butler’s Chocolate was definitely an interesting (and tasty) experience! We stopped in for the famous hot chocolate, though to be honest, I didn’t think it was the main star of the show. Some of the small chocolates, though? Absolutely delicious. I’m a big fan of salted caramel, but honestly, everything in the display case looked like it belonged in a fancy dessert magazine. To their credit, they start the hot chocolate by ladling melted chocolate straight from a crockpot—which, let’s be real, is how all hot chocolate should begin. I got the marshmallow version, and the family ordered the standard Butler’s hot chocolate. I’ll admit it: family for the win... the classic was better! Overall, it was a fun, cozy experience and one I’d recommend everyone try at least once. Chocolate lovers, this is definitely your happy place!
