I ordered a turkey wrap with tomato and lettuce The girl literally took one slice of turkey ( wafer thin) and cut it in half..I couldn't believe my eyes. Price- €8.50 I have ordered this wrap before . I mentioned it to the cashier but she didn't really have a response. Is this how we now take advantage of customers? Left it behind.. Stay away
We walked into this place believing we were getting lovely home cooked food. While the service was ok, the coffee was absolutely awful, really bitter, just tasted of cheap coffee grounds. We also had two cakes which just didn’t taste right, a really false taste. We couldn’t even finish the coffee or the cake, this rarely happens.
Why oh why has the chocolate on your eclairs changed? Ann’s was the only place I’d eat eclairs from because the chocolate was amazing but now, absolutely awful. What on earth brought this change to a fantastic cake?
Ann’s Bakery is a great spot right in the heart of Dublin. The location couldn’t be more central, making it perfect for a quick stop or a sit-down meal while exploring the city. The space is big and comfortable, with plenty of seating, which is a huge plus in such a busy area. The food has that classic Irish feel — hearty, tasty, and made with genuine care. Whether you’re after fresh pastries, a full Irish breakfast, or something warm for lunch, the quality is consistent and satisfying. The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to come back. It’s one of those places that locals have known for years and visitors are always happy to discover. A solid choice for good Irish food, generous space, and welcoming service — right in the centre of everything.
Today we went to Ann's Bakery to get lunch. There is a deal you get 2 courses. You get a main meal and a dessert. I got fish and chips. For dessert I got a strawberry cheesecake. My son tried the roast Carvery. He had turkey and ham with roast potatoes and vegetables. He had a Black Forest Cake for dessert. The food was alright. I thought my fish could have been a bit crisper. The place was clean and the staff are friendly! They also have lots of fresh cakes and pastries. It has a bakery section too.
