Our first day in Copanhagen began with great athmosphere in Cafe Vivaldi. We feeled very comfortable and relaxed. The dishes was delicious. Special thanks to Mr. Mustafa for great hospitality. Just write this cafe to 'must visit' places.
Good place with great food. I frequented it 3 times in 4 days. Some of the veg options such as the tomato soup which comes in a good portion size, ravioli pasta and margarita pizza were all well prepared. Service is prompt but staff friendliness is a mixed bag - some were genuinely nice but few others were rude and disinterested. Right opposite one of the Tivoli entrances and very close to the train terminus. Kitchen closes at 9 PM sharp. Overall a good recommendation although the staff can be more patient and friendly
Cafe Vidoli is one of those places that immediately catches your attention because of its beautiful and calming ambiance. The space feels inviting with soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a pleasant atmosphere that makes you want to sit down and relax for a while. It has the potential to be the perfect place for a slow morning coffee or a casual afternoon catch up. However, the experience unfortunately did not match the charm of the setting. The service was noticeably slow. Even simple requests took a long time and it felt as if the team was either understaffed or not fully attentive. There was no sense of urgency and it slightly affected the mood of the visit. A place with such a lovely environment deserves service that makes guests feel cared for and welcomed, but that was missing during my time there. The food was also just average. Nothing stood out and the flavours were not memorable. It was not terrible, just not something that would make me excited to return. With the rising café standards everywhere, especially in cities where people appreciate quality and freshness, food needs to deliver something a little more special or at least well executed. At Cafe Vidoli, the dishes felt basic and lacked the spark that could elevate the experience. Overall, the ambiance remains the strongest point of this café. It is a nice place to sit for a drink, but if you are expecting good service and satisfying food, it may fall short. I hope they improve because the potential is definitely there.
When an experience leaves such a mark, it feels wrong not to leave a review. We walked into this busy café not realizing they were about to close. We asked if it was still okay to order and were told yes, so we just got iced coffees. The barista, clearly tired, loudly complained about still having to make drinks and didn’t seem to care who heard. We decided to skip dessert out of respect. What really stood out was how he snapped at two other customers who came in after us, acting irritated and he was openly being rude, while his friend laughed. It was uncomfortable to watch. That said, the female server seemed genuinely apologetic, and I felt bad she had to witness it too. Honestly, it would’ve been better if they’d just said they were no longer taking orders.
A nice and warm spot. The place inside is quite big. Service was also good. The food was just average. You can see from the pictures that the salmon and chicken dish had exactly the same gravy and sides, which lacked taste.
