Edit: I've reduced the rating of service because the owner has resorted to personally attacking me below after showing them food chunks on their cutlery. To be clear, I asked for another spoon from customer service which still had food marks. The owner is rejecting my experience and is being profoundly offensive. --- Food is amazing, one of the best restaurants in Copenhagen. But the cutlery has food chunks stuck to it & orange bubble marks like it was soup or something on the knife/spoon. I felt disgusted & needed to buy a fork from 7/11 next door. I drank my soup from the bowl, & ate my salmon with the 2kr fork I bought. I hope the next visit won’t have food stuck to the cutlery I was given. This is a beautiful restaurant with exceptional food - the hygiene needs to be reflected in that standard.
Don’t get me wrong, the food is amazing. But the atmosphere is scary with the owner shouting at the employees and treating the customers awfully. He should be reported. We tried our best to think good or that maybe he was having a bad day, but he repeatedly mistreated us, the customers. The waitress is super nice and tries to mend for the awful ambiance. I hope she finds another place to work.
Small cafe, great atmosphere with incredibly friendly helpful staff. Food was delicious. Only went in for tea and cake! The quiche Lorraine and the croque Parisian excellent. Highly recommend for just traand cake - huge selection or something more substantial - we ended up having both! Highly recommend. We were on bikes and parked by the metro entrance. Also not far from Amalienborg Palace and Fredriks church.
Adorable little pastry shop conveniently located right next to the metro exit. We tried the cheesecake fruit tart, and it was as rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced as any true cheesecake should be. One note for future visitors: they have a sign politely—but firmly—reminding customers not to bring outside drinks, calling it “immoral and unethical.” Best to order one of their own beverages and enjoy the full experience.
A nice little pocket of home, to compliment a light drizzle of a day. The one person there was very lovely, spoke English, was welcoming and also made my meal. Honestly was pretty surprising and very welcoming. I had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful bacon omelette with a couple of treats on the side. I enjoyed the place to myself since I was there pretty early and it’s really well nested, it’s cozy and feels like home. If you’re not comfortable being close to people I can say this might not be your cup of tea. I sat there and saw at least 5 people walk in to buy a croissant or pastry and leave off to work. I enjoyed the lemon raspberry dessert as well as the croissant. I had a great time in my short stay.
