Wow this place is super special.. amazing food, amazing value, around 110dkk, eat what you want, with meat and vege mains and mega salads and sauces ... I think home made bread .. it's such a warm, inviting vibe and decor. Defo worth a visit ❤️

Copenhagens best kept secret, this is where the locals eat. The best home cooked meals !They open at 16.30 by 17.15 a line out the door. Only open 5 days a week. Open 4.30 to 8.30.

The man at the front counter was very kind and had a positive attitude. The food was delicious - I had the shepherd’s pie (made with beef) and a bowl of various mixed vegetable salads, topped with a generous portion of homemade baba ghanoush, and a slice of delicious bread. They said I could have as many helpings of salad as I wanted but everything I got was more than enough. I left satisfied and happy. Another plus is that the restaurant is on a street perpendicular to the main road with all of the restaurants. So, it’s a quieter atmosphere and not as packed.

This adorable little restaurant is the epitome of a hidden gem. Tucked away in a little side street in vesterbro, you may miss it but for the green fun MadGlad sign. There's a meal of the day ( either veggie or meat) which comes with a selection of beautiful and colourful salads. The vibe is super cozy. If you are looking for an affordable dinner option while in Copenhagen, this is your place. We had a nice time. The lady who served us was a delight. Highly recommended

My wife and I dropped by for dinner a Tuesday in January 2025 with our grown up daughter. You order and get your food at the “reception” and then either bring your food home to eat or go to the dining area and eat there. We ate at the dining area. Plenty of room for a lot of people. You can choose from 2-3 main courses that area served with a slice of bread and some salad (5-8 to choose from). You also choose your beverage when you order your food. The food this evening was Shepherds Pie and Italian bean stew. Bot dishes were very delicious - we preferred the pie over the stew - but it was a close call. You pay 110 DKK for a main meal which seems very fair. Definitely a place to visit when in the area.
