Skammekrogen

There are some places in the world that makes you happy, because they capture the essence of a city, a nation, a people. This place is one of them! If you want to know Denmark, and the Danes, this is a place to visit. There are too few places left like this in the capitals of the Scandinavian countries. Scandi cool places are nice, and should be visited, but this place is a true, classic, gem. So go, have a Tuborg, and get a taste of what life is really like in København. The owner is a kind woman and it is a place where every one is welcome. Going here made our weekend in København perfect. In a world of streamlined, sleek places that makes you unsure if you are in Stockholm, New York or London this places puts an end to your wonder. You are in Denmark, in København and within these walls you understand why you like it so much!

Spent a Thursday night at Skammekrogen having drinks with the local crowd. Friendly and attentive bartender. Good drinks, very affordable.

You're allowed to smoke inside. Pretty good selection of beers. My friends had Gin n' Tonic. 49DKK for a doubble👍

This is a place to go to meet both locals and all other kind of people. The beers are good and cheap. Here is a very cozy atmosphere and very kind staff. It is a place to go for a couple of beers after work or before dinner. It is a allowed to smoke inside. Skammekrogen is just a 5 minutes walk from the Central Station along the "Vesterbrogade". There are lot of other bars in the neighborhood on the Vesterbros Torv, but this is my favorite, and nearly half price for the Draft Beer. In the summertime there is outdoor serving.
