Lille Fugl

I keep returning to Lille Fugl for their friendly service and atmosphere, the beautiful terrace just in front of the Gammel Strand museum, and of course THE best Turkish eggs in town. Strong, spiced and full of character ad they should be, on a base of creamy layer of labneh and harissa, topped and perfectly finished with an almond crunch, and served with the delicious sourdough bread of their mother bakery Flere fugle. Thank you!

Such a lovely little spot for lunch! We had a cardamom bun (which was absolutely delicious), tried another thing from the menu and enjoyed the best cappuccino we’ve had so far in Copenhagen. On top of that, the people were super friendly and welcoming.

A little moment of sweetness at Lille Fugl 🤍 Everything feels delicate, thoughtful, and beautifully made—just like the desserts themselves. These two were my absolute favorites: perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and clearly made with so much care. The kind of treats you slow down for, admire first, and then enjoy every single bite. And the matcha latte was awesome too. smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, the ideal companion to the desserts.

Really cute cafe! Went for breakfast and everything was very delicious. The blackcurrant pastry was so creamy, yet tart and the pastry itself was so buttery and fresh. The breakfast plate is a classic and the yogurt was also tasty! There’s plenty of seats out front and in the second rooms as well to sit and enjoy.

The café staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I originally wanted to order Turkish eggs, but they were honest and explained that they were missing the topping, so the taste wouldn’t be as expected. Instead, they suggested scrambled eggs, which turned out to be amazing. One small tip: make sure to order your food at the bar/cashier first. Otherwise, you might end up waiting like I did before realizing where to order haha
