I was very satisfied with this restaurant. The place is nicely decorated with comfortable chairs and tables, either inside or outside. The staff is excellent and friendly. The menu has plenty of options at reasonable prices. The beef tenderloin was a good option, served in large portion with vegetables and potatoes.

The atmosphere especially “the secret garden” caught our eye and It definitely gives the secluded yet pretty patio vibe. However, the service didn’t meet the standards set from the atmosphere. The tables were too small and when we asked if we could pull a chair to put our stuff (since we shopped and had our backpacks with us) the waiter had an attitude and declined helping us. We don’t mind putting our stuff on the ground, but I don’t get the attitude nor the lack of problem solving in this case. Moreover, the waiters were not understanding and helpful towards my family who didn’t speak english well. The food was quite well, satisfactory, I would say. I recommend this place for the vibes and food but it definitely needs to work on the welcoming and understanding aspects of their service.

Horrible atmosphere. On the patio in the backyard every time someone flushes the toilet it is accompanied by a bad-smelling odeur. Waiter was in my opinion unfriendly. We said from the start that we would only get drinks. He kept on insisting that we should try the food. Even commenting with “what a shame” when we said no for the fifth time or so. Don’t go there, there are better places for sure!

I had a fantastic burger at Café Zirup, everything tasted fresh, from the crisp lettuce to the juicy patty and tangy pickles. The sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. I sat by the large window overlooking the outdoor area, which made for a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. A great spot for a quiet, satisfying lunch in the city!
