Cafe Phenix City

Good food options, we took the full brunch. The food was good, with multiple options for every taste. Good amount for the money. Good service. Price was very good for the options. Very accommodating.

Service: A very warm welcome meets you as you sit on the chairs. Communication and service is nice, they are so kind to each and every guest. Atmosphere: Located on the corner of Grabrødretorv square, all tables are heated well in cold weather. A great spot to have a meal after city tour Food: Sandwiches were beyond my expectation, the meat was tender and juicy. Bread was freshly baked, warm, crispy crust and soft inside. Yogurt sauce was a delicious touch to sandwich. The fries was also very tasty, they were cut by hand and deep fried freshly, served with a nice sauce. I had to update my comments about the menu, because we stopped for dinner on my last day in Copenhagen. Tenderloin was cooked precisely medium, extremely juicy, perfectly seasoned, served at perfect temperature! Mushroom sauce was a delicate touch to the dish, vegetables were tasty and well prepared. Their wines were also nice. Mr Ali Osman the chef knows very well how to treat a good quality meat! I personally thank him for the dishes and his kindness. Highly recommended!

Cafe Phonix at Gråbrødretorv has lovely, welcoming staff and a cozy location, though it can be a bit chilly outside even on sunny days due to the shaded seating. Sadly, despite the café not being busy, our food took quite a while to arrive, we had long finished our drinks by then. The salad and portion sizes felt modest for the price, and the burger came with only a few fries, which didn’t feel like the best value for money. On the bright side, the Angus beef patty in the burger was cooked perfectly. The toilets are clean and well-kept. A small frustration was that the tables were left unattended, so we couldn’t easily request a receipt before leaving.

Cold 🥶 and windy 🌬️ day in beautiful Copenhagen. We were hungry and we ended up here with our two dogs 🐩 🐩 We ordered the gourmet burgers 🍔 and a beer 🍺 . The food was better than I expected and the burgers tasted good 👍🏻. The only thing I didn’t understand was why they poured the truffles sauce over the top of the burger itself numb and all. The sauce was good but cold. Finally the staff was super friendly

A nice place to sit down outside and relax. It's a really nice square with many places to eat and drink. Blankets and heating is provided and there are some seats inside. Service was attentive. Food was ok, nothing special but a casual place to eat. The atmosphere is the best thing about this place. The burger was nice, chips fresh and crispy and although the chicken salad was good, it was average. I would have no issues in returning to try something else or just have a beer.
