Very cute cafe hidden away from the main street. Prices a slightly lower than other places but it is as aesthetically pleasing as others. Speciality coffee available
An absolute gem in Chiang Mai! 🤎 I spent a wonderful, peaceful moment here – exactly the kind of gentle day I needed. I stayed for over two hours, reading and journaling in this incredibly soothing atmosphere. As a pastry chef from France, I can say their Tiramisu was truly excellent. The quality is outstanding: refined, perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with a rich cocoa flavor. A real treat! I also had a sparkling Honey & Lemon Matcha, which was refreshing and perfectly executed. The cafe is a true haven of serenity. It’s amazing how calm this little alley is, even though it's right near a main street and a car dealership. I loved taking photos for my memories; every corner is so photogenic. The staff is lovely, smiling, and very well-organized. I really enjoyed watching them work in their kitchen (the second room has a charming 'country house' vibe). It almost made me want to jump in and start baking with them! I recommend this place 1000%, whether for the quality of the desserts or the warm welcome. I’ll definitely be back to try the Carrot Cake. Thank you for a perfect afternoon! ✨ I've been coming here for a month now and I felt the need to update my review... We should normalize going back to the places that make us feel good, over and over again. During my month in Chiang Mai, Zmoy Cafe became my sanctuary. It was the place I returned to several times a week whenever I needed comfort, silence, or a moment of peace. Beyond the technical excellence—because everything here is perfectly mastered, from the subtle sugar balance to the coffee quality that easily rivals the best shops in France—it’s the soul of the place that stays with you. It is a little slice of paradise tucked away in the Old City where you immediately feel at home. It has become my personal 'Proust’s Madeleine' in Thailand. I love the reassuring consistency: the service is always gentle and kind, and the homemade pastries always taste just as delicious, time after time. They don't try to do everything; they focus on what they do best, and you can feel the heart they put into it—from their social media to the way they treat every customer. If there is one thing I will truly miss about Chiang Mai, it’s the feeling of warmth I got every time I walked through those doors. It’s not a goodbye, just a 'see you later.' I highly recommend anyone to stop here, step away from the dust and noise, and just enjoy the moment.
Lovely and cozy modern cafe in the middle of old town and old temples. The drinks and snacks are unique and tasty but cheaper than similar options in the new town.
Great Latte, very friendly staff and nice to sit. Just the music inside was a bit too loud for my liking. All in all still a super great place to enjoy your coffee
Nik is the sweetest and Zmoy is a such a cute cafe. Definitely one of the cutest cafe’s I’ve ever visited. And the coffee does not disappoint. We tried the Zmoy Coffee and lemon cake and both were so good! Please add this place to your list.
