Selective ospitality. The guy was welcoming to others but dismissive and incredibly rude to us. When we politely asked for a seating alternative, we were told: 'Go somewhere else.' Unprofessional and unwelcoming. Plenty of better places nearby. I can't believe how aggressively he replied. I proposed to sit on a bench, just to be there! Don't you want clients? I tried to get a ridicoulusly tiny table closer to us to drink the freaking coffee (the majestic one that would have blocked the entrance) and he kicked us out. I'm so sorry for you my friend, you must be very unhappy to take it out on people like that. ♡
A lovely coffee shop in the Old City of Chiang Mai. The owner plays beautifully relaxing music and makes fabulous coffee. He is an aficionado, roasting his own coffee beans to perfection. There in a sheltered outside space to sit as well as an inside space in which you are surrounded by beautiful Thai sculptures. (He also serves different kinds of tea, and cookies.)
Absolutely the best coffee in Chiang Mai! Tony is the most kind-hearted and caring host – he goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. His warmth and hospitality truly make this place special. The atmosphere is also amazing, surrounded by antiques that give the café such a unique and cozy charm. A must-visit!
A Hidden Gem: Antique Shop & Coffee If you're looking for a place that perfectly combines charm, character, and delicious coffee, Tony's Antique Shop & Coffee is the spot for you. I had the Americano, and it was fantastic—smooth, rich, and expertly brewed. Paired with their homemade cookies (yes, made on-site), it was an absolute treat. What truly sets this café apart is its unique and eclectic furniture. Forget cookie-cutter IKEA pieces—everything here feels one-of-a-kind, adding to the cozy and artistic atmosphere. You can sip your coffee while sitting on some of the most fascinating chairs and tables you'll come across. Tony, who runs the shop, adds a personal touch to the experience, making the space feel even more welcoming. Whether you're in the mood for coffee, Thai tea, or just a quiet place to relax, this shop is a must-visit. Highly recommended for coffee lovers, antique enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates a laid-back, memorable vibe.
We were walking around in Chaingmai and found this cafe by chance. The owner was friendly and truely coffee lover! Coffee was awesome and affordable. You can also buy antique furniture and accessories or even enjoy it while sipping a cup of coffee there. Totally recommend.
