It can't be a coincidence that you can get the best homemade cream puffs in town here: you have to compensate for such a lousy location with something :) There's not much foot traffic on this part of the street, and you can't usually stop by car, especially if you notice that you have to go down to a basement (with your neck hunched and your head down, of course) to get the cake. I suspect that they live off the regulars in the area, because it's almost impossible to just wander in. However, it's been open for many years, so the locals obviously appreciate it. Apart from the - truly unique - homemade cream puffs, I've only bought scones here, and they're excellent, every single one. The service is fair, sometimes even kind. It's also fair that they sell the hangover cream puffs (although they rarely run out that day) at half price. It's not worth sitting down, because it's not atmospheric, but that's not what they're designed for. Keep it up, although the offerings deserve a better location.

I very rarely come across such a quality animal cake, the punch slice was so soaked and tasted so alcoholic that I didn't dare drive home 🫤
