The goulash on the terrace was absolutely perfect! The staff were super friendly and even though I went alone, I still had the best time. Sitting there with the night view felt like such a treat and I thought to myself, this is exactly why I love traveling.
Breathtaking views and well worth the wait if you have to. Great photo opp spot as well. I tried the traditional Hungarian spirit Palinka, beer, Tagliatelle with tomato, pesto and parmesan, and an espresso martini. All of it was so good, especially the tagliatelle. Definitely try the tagliatelle. Staff was helpful and service was solid. Went around 3PM and wait for 5 minutes. Would love to come back here.
Amazing place to grab a quick drink and enjoy the beautiful view. It’s expensive enough but to be expected for where it is. Would definitely recommend a quick stop to take a minute and enjoy the view. Only issue we had was service was pretty slow. Took a very long time to pay even though there were plenty of people waiting for our table.
We got greeted at the door and asked if we wanted to eat or just drinks. Got a table at the window and did not have to wait for it. Food was good and well value for the money. View was beautiful. You can pay by card. The refreshers are a big recommendation!! They taste amazing and look stunning! Only negative is that they have no toilet. There is a public toilet nearby, which you also have to pay for.. would be nice if they could give you like a card to pee for free? The public toilet also only accepts cash.
First, when we queued and got our turn, the things we asked before sitting down were: 1. Can we pay by card? No, cash only. But the café staff were very kind and pointed us to the nearest ATM. 2. Can we pay in euros? Yes, but the exchange rate follows theirs and any change would be given in Hungarian currency. 3. Is there a toilet? No, but the staff told us there was a public toilet we could use. 4. Do we have to order food or is there a minimum purchase requirement? We could just order drinks and there was no minimum spend. The staff were really nice. And if we wanted a table by the window, of course, we’d have to wait patiently. The prices are still reasonable.
