Food is delicious, the atmosphere is fine, however there is no wheelchair accessiblity
A pretty large eatery amongst many new office buildings. It is a self-serve buffet restaurant, where your plate will be measured by weight. The plates there are pretty big, so consider always filling up only to half, otherwise the meal can be very expensive. The quality of food is very good, and there are many options, for meats and vegetable based foods as well. There is always two soups, and a salad counter as well (you can mix the salads however you like). There are a small selection of boxed sweets and soft drinks at the cashier. You can pay by cash, cafeteria card, credit card. If you pay with cash, you have to put in an self-service cassa.
I have recently been to this place.Sadly, not only do they charge for every random thing (such as 'using the salad buffet' on top of the price of the actual salad) as well as resorting to obscure pricing, they also add things that you *did not* order to your bill. A Hungarian speaker, which was with me, later checked my bill and saw that they added fish ('hal') to my order in addition to the only piece of meat I had chosen (chicken fillet). I want to believe it was the cashier's mistake. But she had double-checked the bill before I paid, and yet decided to let it go with the incorrect prices. Good luck trying to explain yourself in English there. If you are a foreigner and would not like to be ripped off, I suggest checking your bill thoroughly before paying: or just go somewhere else.
They charge the side dish by dkg, including the weight of the rest of the food on the plate. So it could happen that you pay 500 ft fix price for a piece of rántott csirke and 900 ft for a small portion of burgonyapüré!
This place just opened. At first it looked like a normal canteen, and it is for the most part. However, most of the food is self-serve and cost is based on weight. There are a few items you pay per piece, but this is indicated clearly. At the time, the cost was 22 HUF per dg. I tried the veggies, rice and fries. They were surprisingly good. Everything was seasoned, and servings were hot. They offer a wide variety of food options, and tend to have healthier food than your normal canteen. The place is pretty big and fills up at lunchtime. Best to avoid from noon til 1.00. I certainly will go back.
