We had an amazing pistacchio croissant and the staff was super sweet, maybe it doesn’t mean much but they also refilled my own bottle with filtered water without charge
They serve incredible quality matcha, it has become one of my favorite places in Budapest! You can order your drink with any milk and they don't charge extra for it, the Raspberry ice matcha is the best😉 The employees were also very nice and helpful!
Good 👍
I recently ate at Leon Osteria and had a wonderful time! The food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the service—the staff were attentive, friendly, and very professional. I highly recommend this place!
Coffee lovers of Budapest rejoiced a couple of months back, when Café Luna closed. Notorious for its bus shelter-tier atmosphere and stale pastries, its closure, seemingly due to the total renovation of the hotel next door, was a blessed relief. So imagine my shock when I decided to try the brand new café at that brand new hotel next door. Ordering a coffee at the counter, I was brought face to face with the exact deli display unit from Café Luna, clearly moved across wholesale. Presumably, the pastries from Luna had been kept in storage for the past few couple of months. The ‘pain au chocolat’ I ordered was so stale it was physically inedible: as in, it was basically impossible to break the bread down into chewable chunks. I gave up in half a bite. The coffee was Luna-tier strong. The bill came to a sizable 4400 Ft for a coffee, croissant and a small (200ml) bottle of water. The service was pleasant, though: the waiters are clearly trying hard. But of course, 'trying' should at least with occasionally changing the bread products. A croissant is not a tin of baked beans.
