The food was tasty and felt authentic. Prices are on the higher side, but the portions are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. There’s plenty of space — inside, in the bright winter garden and outside seating area — which makes the restaurant feel relaxed and comfortable. Service was great as well, with lots of staff around and everything running smoothly.
Avoid… we knew this was a tourist trap but it was 9:30 pm on a Sunday so we didn’t have many options. Little did we know this was about to be one of the worst Italian foods we’ve ever had. The risotto was hard rice in pure tomato sauce, no flavour, no seasoning, nothing. The arabiata wasn’t spicy, which like the main component to a dish that has very few ingredients and once again, needed so much salt and pepper and chilli flakes to make it edible. Service was non existent with wait staff, sitting down chatting and neglecting tables, yet still have the audacity to ask for a tip that’s a minimum of 15% Horrid.
We had the calzone - big portion, fully stuffed with cheese, ham and salami, but the dough was a bit undercooked and needed more baking. We also had the ravioli with cream, truffle oil, and porcini mushrooms. It was the best dish we had but the portion was small. We finally got the stracciatella with mushrooms pizza. It luck a bit of taste but the cooking was good. Weird enough, even though we were placed next to the kitchen, the dishes came to us a bit cold. Especially the ravioli. Finally the thing that disappointed us was the service. The staff was polite, but the hostess or owner was just sitting there, taking video calls, looking weird to the clients, playing with her hair. Her full appearance was just rude. If it wasn't for the service we would have visited the place again.
If you’re in Budapest and you’re craving truly delicious, crispy pizzas in a super cozy and welcoming restaurant, then this is absolutely the place to be! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you immediately feel at home thanks to the genuine hospitality. In summer, they have a beautiful terrace where you can sit outside and enjoy the lively surroundings, and they also serve excellent ice cream — perfect on a warm day. But honestly, not just the pizzas: everything on the menu is delicious. A very special thank you to Yunus Emre, who is truly an outstanding host. His warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism make the experience even more memorable. This is without a doubt my favorite spot in Budapest, a place I keep coming back to and highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.
A nice restaurant serving authentic Italian food, with a nice outdoor seating area which was heated, very useful as I visited in November. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the service was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend a visit if In the area
