Today we visited this cafe. We ordered a cappuccino with oat milk — it was very delicious, the coffee was truly perfect. We also ordered an avocado toast with a fried egg and pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. Unfortunately, the food disappointed me. The egg was undercooked, and it was unpleasant to see raw egg white. I really don’t like this texture, and it honestly ruined my impression of the dish. Especially considering that this cafe positions itself as a high-level place, I expected the food quality to be perfect. Because of this, my mood was spoiled, and I truly regret that I didn’t say anything at the time. I would also like to mention the service. Unfortunately, the friendliness of the staff was at a low level. The waiters were not very welcoming, and when we were leaving, no one even looked at us or said goodbye. They also didn’t ask whether we enjoyed our visit, which I find quite strange for a cafe of this level.
We visited Dorado Café and really liked the atmosphere. It was very cozy and lovely. I’m sure the outdoor seating area would be very enjoyable in warmer weather. Since it was winter and snowy outside, we chose to sit indoors, and it was warm and comfortable inside. The café is not very big, but it’s just the right size — a small, sweet place with a nice vibe. We were free to choose where to sit, and the staff brought us the menu. You order and pay at the counter, and once the food is ready, they bring it to your table. I ordered the avocado toast and added extra bacon on the side, along with a latte. The coffee was good — I would say it was a solid, average coffee. My sister ordered the Turkish eggs, and if I remember correctly, she also had an iced chai latte. I really enjoyed my breakfast. The texture and doneness of the eggs, the flavors — everything was very nice. My sister was also happy with her meal, and overall we were satisfied. We liked everything we ordered. There was nothing extremely surprising or “wow,” but the dishes were classic and well made. Simple, tasty, and enjoyable. The atmosphere was lovely, as I mentioned, and the prices were average. I liked the place, and if I have the chance, I would definitely go back again.
Really enjoyable breakfast spot with genuinely good coffee — rich, clean. The menu is small but thoughtful. The cheese toast is simple and done right, and the tutrkish eggs are absolutely worth ordering. A nice surprise: orange wine in the morning, which you rarely see. Left with the feeling that they know exactly what they’re doing. I’ll be back.
Such a chic, cool brunch spot in Budapest. I’ve been twice and loved it both times—great food, lovely atmosphere, and just an all-around good vibe.
Cozy vibe with a super friendly atmosphere and service. The music was a bit too loud for my taste (I was trying to work on my laptop), but the coffee and cake were quite decent. The crowd is nice and the place has a good energy overall. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area and looking for a spot to relax and unwind.
