St. Francis of Assisi is one of the saints I admire most, and Assisi is one of my favorite cities. In this café, which I found by chance, I felt the same peace I once felt in Assisi. As a foreigner living in Hungary, it was the first time I felt such warmth here. For that reason alone, this place feels truly blessed. @hungry.in.hungary.project Budapest-based Artist Studying Fine Arts | Drawing daily life
Lovely original place! Chai Latte Expresso and the smoked cheese croissant were delicious!
Nice, cozy place for coffee. Nice service wit smile 😀.
Popped in this morning with my daughter on our last morning in Budapest. Lovely little cafe. Great service and the iced lattes were so good! Lovely relaxing atmosphere and quite a quirky wee setting. ❤️
This place was empty when I went in at about 9.30am on a Wednesday morning. The girl was happy to serve me two takeaway coffees. The main plus was the espresso, it was delicious. The main negative was that the price list said it should have cost 1800HUF and I was charged 2000HUF. This is still cheaper than I’m used to paying but is a little annoying. Im pretty sure this is a take away charge but am not sure. Edit for the business reply. No need for a free drink, I came back three more times during my stay for my morning coffee. Displaying this cost would be absolutely the easiest way to save confusion. If and when I’m ever back in Budapest I’ll be back for a coffee.
