Best coffee roaster! I’ve been coming here since almost 8 years, when there was only a couple of branches of the Barn. Great service, knowledgeable and kind baristas. Great food! Miss the smoothie bowls in the summer though. The coffee here never disappoints. Regardless if you are looking for a new flavor or coming back for your favorite one.

The coffee shop The Barn is undoubtedly one of the best specialty coffee places in Berlin. You can see from the design of their cafés to the design of their coffee packaging that great attention is paid to every detail. They even organise coffee tastings, which create a sense of community and, of course, give you the opportunity to try new coffees. Some tastings are dedicated to special occasions, such as holidays, for example, Christmas. These gatherings are hosted by a passionate barista, Santiago, whose love for coffee and his work can be seen both on an ordinary grey day, whether you are just grabbing a coffee to go or sitting in the café, and during these tasting events. Once, he made my day brighter and sparked my curiosity about specialty coffee when I was simply picking up a coffee to go. While handing me my drink, he mentioned the flavour notes of the espresso that day, and I was amazed and genuinely excited to return to the coffee shop to try new espresso or filter coffees. It would be wonderful if there were more baristas like Santiago. Perhaps the world would be a better place if everyone did their job with such passion and devotion!

A very cozy café. A friendly barista. If you come to Berlin, you must visit this café. On a cold winter day, their hand-drip coffee is truly comforting. ☕

Excellent coffee! The barista was so kind and knowledgeable and my husband and I both enjoyed our cappuccino, pour over and pastries. Definitely a hit for our last day in Berlin.
