We have visited this gem for more than 10 years and are still very happy with what we order. Pisco sour and empanadas.

I was walking through one of my favorite neighborhoods and found this place. The owner is very friendly, the yerba mate he uses is delicious, and I had it with an alfajor that was just wow, so good. A lovely spot if you want to write, read, recharge your energy, or simply be alone with yourself and let time pass.

A tiny, authentic little gem tucked away in a quiet neighborhood next to a park in Prenzlauer Berg. We dropped by (actually sat outside) for a sunny afternoon drink, and both the caipirinha and the pisco sour were absolutely top-notch. This is the definition of a one-man-show coffee and drink bar, and the owner is a straight-shooter: kind, genuine, and unapologetically himself. It’s clear that some visitors have had their differences with him — but honestly, that often comes down to people bringing their own expectations, when in reality this is his place, run his way. So, come here with some respect and good manners, settle in, order a perfect pisco sour (or maybe two), and you’ll have a great time. Thanks for a wonderful few hours in the sun! Very unfriendly and rude service. Only accepts cash. They don’t seem to like guests here. ---- Regarding the reply by the owner: I simply asked whether card payment was possible — nothing more. Your reaction at the time felt unexpectedly aggressive, which is why we decided not to stay. Now seeing your response here, calling me "voll arrogant" and pointing out personal details like "the one with the dog" feels even more unsettling. And also completely false. I believe no guest should be spoken to like this, either in person or in public replies online. My review was about a negative experience, not a personal attack. I still hope in the future your guests are treated more kindly, even when they ask simple questions.

Please sit down and embrace this beautiful place! Put your phone in your pocket and just relax! The atmosphere is great! Don't forget to try the ceviche on Friday!
