Gardine

A charming spot - a cafe by day and a wine bar by night. We visited Gardine everyday when we were in Berlin. Truly fell in love with the place as you can see the love and thoughts the owners have put into the place. From the tasteful interior to the well curated menu, everything is beautifully designed. My fiancé loved the coffee. Me being a non-coffee drinker, I really enjoyed the matcha latte. I highly recommend the pastrami sandwich and the tahini banana bread. When we returned in the evening, it was such a cosy spot where you could catch up with friends over some delicious Belgian beer and wine with a candle lit ambiance.

Delicious coffee and croissants in a very cozy room. At first I found the distribution of tables and the space a bit odd, but it actually makes it feel like home and even invites to interact with each other. The staff are really friendly, which is a rare gem in Berlin. I will definitely come back and recommend it.
