Café Dorle

I absolutely love this bar, it’s amongst my favorites— visited this cozy coffee place that turns into a bar in the evening right after it’s refurbishment end of January, besides multiple visits in former years. The atmosphere is cozy, the waiters utterly friendly, open, sincere, interested and above everything, caring. The menu contains not only a great amount of cocktails, wines, shots and beers, Dorle also serves tasty snacks like olives with crackers besides delicious cakes (vegan banana bread, cinnamon rolls, apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce, vegan carrot cake without nuts) or quiches and cookies—even breakfast. Reservation was fairly easy online via the website and I was expected and awaited kindly on time. I highly suggest this bar for get-togethers, meet-ups, dates, gatherings and birthdays at any time. There is spacious room and many tables in the back, yet, the seats next to the windows are cute and charming. Very accessible as well due to the bus stop right outside. Nothing to complain about, everything went seemless, I love to come back here anytime, I was always having a marvelous time!

Dorle is such a cute place with so much positive energy. The staff is nice, they accept card and the music is great. They have a huge range of drinks to offer (I have to come back and try), food and also snacks. I went for a flat white and my friend for an Americano. I have to say it was one the most well made flat white’s I’ve had in Berlin. The Raspberry cake was also nice. Definitely coming back!

Really love this place, visit everytime I’m in Berlin, but at not even very busy moments it sometimes takes up to 20 minutes before you can order and then another 15 minutes to get a draft beer. This evening I just left after 20 minutes nobody came to the table just to take an order.

As one local guide here said, the “hipster heaven” and I stand with it. I would just appreciate a less berlinish kind of vibe the stuff gives off. Like more smiling and more welcoming. I do realise though what kind of atmosphere they want to have. Maybe I just like to see people more smiling in this grey depressing weather of Berlin. But they do smile back :) PS. Hey guys I don’t know if it’s just coincidence or they read it, but the stuff became more friendly and appealing😻 now my safe place for every day -1 star still cause often forget what I ask for.

I really like this place! The staff are super friendly and it’s a pretty place with a nice atmosphere. I came for brunch and it was very empty. The food menu was quite minimal but the food was very good, I recommend the granola and grilled cheese . I would definitely come back here!
