Vivari

Nice place, good atmosphere but the toilets were not very clean

Just visiting Barcelona, my hotel nearby, this Vivari is awesome, great bocatas, sweets, drinks. Everything is great here and the service extraordinary.

I spent a lot of time working out of this cafe, and I recommend it as a great spot to grab a coffee (the chai tea lattes were my favorite) and knock out some work! The free WiFi is great and the noise levels are perfect for concentration. Plenty of seating and charging ports available. Food-wise, the desserts are good enough, but the pizza was not to my liking at all - the cheese had an almost sour aftertaste and the dough was a bit tough. So stick to the tasty coffees (here I even discovered a new type, the sweet and electric bombon) and pastries and good luck getting some work done!

Friendly staff, lots of seating and natural light, but only mid food. No prices on any menus which is strange and leaves me suspicious if they change prices based on locals vs tourists. Staff were patient as i chose my order though. Got a red velvet muffin (not pictured) and iced matcha. The muffin only had icing inside it which was a pleasant surprise but left the top bits without icing to be kinda bland and the bottom with all the icing to be extremely sweet. The icing and muffin in the right ratios was perfect though. The matcha unfortunately was extremely bland/watered down that even my first sip tasted like straight water. There was little to no matcha flavour and not even any milk flavour, it’s like they just used water to make it. Very disappointing.

Nice and quaint cafe with good service, friendly staff and warm ambience. They have nice coffee and drink options along with a wide variety of desserts and drink accompaniments The seating arrangement is tooo good and it has beautiful lights Can visit when in the area.
