Really delicious, and super friendly staff. The owner is a super cool guy! I come here at least twice a week and sometimes order online as well. Really good!! A little bit pricey when eating 4-5 tacos with a side of guacamole, but worth it since it’s delicious and feels like it has clean ingredients.
The tacos were insanely good. They were fresh and had very good flavours. The service was also really good. Quick ordering and fast service. Would come back again anytime!
Taco Alto has always been my all-time favourite. I’ve been to Barcelona four times now, and every single visit includes tacos from here — it’s a non-negotiable. This time, I even tried the viral €2 tacos from TikTok 🤣… and let’s just say, never cheat on your barber — Taco Alto was the last taco stop before heading home, and it reminded me why it’s the best. My sister and I shared a selection, and my favourites remain the lamb and calamari tacos. My sister loved the pastor and shrimp tacos. The combination of the tortilla, meat, and garnishes is just perfection — such a burst of flavour with every bite. It’s easy to get to, right in the city centre near the Arc de Triomf, and it’s always a joy walking from there through the Gothic Quarter, getting lost among the architecture. I’ll always recommend Taco Alto — already counting down the days until I’m back in Barcelona and back eating tacos here again. 🌮✨
Great taste and location. I love eating here the only things to keep in mind is that the size is a bit small. I normally eat 3-4 tacos and here need to eat 6. And also that there is often items on the menu that are not available. The order goes quick and very very delicious
I visited with my sister and niece, and we ordered two quesadillas, two chicken tacos, two steak tacos, and two drinks. We also requested sides of pico de gallo and guacamole. Unfortunately, the chicken meat had a very bad smell and was clearly spoiled, and the pico de gallo was also rotten—definitely not fresh. When I informed the waiter, he explained that the chicken was left out near the plancha and assured me they would make fresh chicken for my tacos. I told him I wouldn't eat any chicken and asked to stop the order. Overall, not a good experience with the food quality. Very disappointing
