WOW! Nothing to add: best place I’ve been in Barcelona after 3 years living here. THE GUY IS THE BEST, A SIMPLE AND LOVELY PERSON AND THE FOOD IS HIGH HIGH QUAlLITY. In my opinion the intermedio menu is the best option!

The moment you walk in you feel like you'v been transported straight to Japan. The vibe is super warm and intimate, the owner does everything himself! You have to book at least one day in advance so he can plan the menu, go to the market in the morning and cook something special just for you!! It feels like you are eating at his home, the quality of the ingredients and the care he puts into every dish are amazing. You can really taste the love and passion that Tati puts into his cooking. Absolute gem! Highly recommend!!

Had the medium omakase at Yamane in El Born and honestly, it was more than a meal - it was an experience. Every dish was incredible. The gyozas were insane, the sushi was perfect, and somehow by the end we were completely full — surprisingly satisfying for such refined, small plates. Tati, the owner and chef, is amazing. Super kind, thoughtful, and you can really feel the care he puts into everything. He explains each dish as he brings it out, and the whole pace is calm and intentional - you’re not just eating, you’re fully immersed. And then the bill at the end came rolled up like an A4 art piece, tied with a bow, placed on this wooden tray - such a beautiful detail. If you’re after a real Japanese dining experience, this is it.

A delightful experience! The prefix menu was well balanced, full of Japanese classics prepared beautifully. The chef made sure to explain every dish to us, shared details about Japanese dining traditions, and kept the atmosphere welcoming, making us feel like guests in his home. At the end, we left with a full belly, and a sweet little souvenir handmade by the chef. PS: just make sure to make a reservation at least one day in advance.

Been to Barcelona numerous times and stumbled across this absolute hidden gem recently. The unique dinning atmosphere, the experience & the freshly prepared menu (selection of food) all speaks for itself. Please don't degrade Japanese cuisine just because you can't order a bowl of rice for a child or you proclaim to be a know-all food lover.
