The other day I walked past this bar and sat down on the terrace for a beer. I took out my Casio stopwatch, the one I got for my First Communion and always wear around my neck, and timed how long it took the waiter to come out and take my order. It took exactly 1 minute and 37 seconds, even though he had to dodge two dogs and a pigeon. Well, actually, when he jumped to avoid the second dog, he squashed the pigeon and killed it. He took a fork out of his pocket and pryed it free from the ground. I ordered my beer, but before he could serve it, I needed to go to the bathroom. As I was taking the firewood out to the patio, the door opened. It was the waiter bringing me my beer, but I told him I'd have it on the terrace. The beer tasted strange. When I was more than halfway through, I realized it wasn't beer at all; it was coffee. I hadn't noticed because I was distracted, watching the traffic light and counting how long it took to change from green to red. I went over to the bar to tell them, and they changed it for me without any problem. I sat down again, and after a few minutes, the waiter came over and brought me a free tapa: chicken wings. I've never seen two wings so big in my life; they were delicious!

"Half a bacon sandwich" is two slices of bacon on a roll with barely any tomato on it. They serve you water without a glass. Not recommended, even if you have to do business at the DGT office right next door.

I visited this café because it's near the DGT (Spanish Traffic Authority) office in La Campana. The first day I was there in the morning, and a young man served me a regular cortado (espresso with milk) for €1.30. Two weeks later, I returned in the afternoon, and there was a woman working there. I ordered a regular cortado from her, and the price was €1.50. I spoke to her and told her about the price, and she said that couldn't be right. I want to report this, but since there's no price list... thanks.
