Laid-back corner bar serving Spanish tapas & small plates alongside cocktails, beer & wine....
The best tapas I had while in Barcelona! Prices were reasonable and they were open when most places weren’t. Highly recommended!
Another pleasant discovery in the Carrer de Saragossa area - a husband and wife team that runs the La Terrassa café-bar-restaurant. It's a nondescript unpretentious place . We took a peek and, seeing the tapas behind the glass "enclosure," we hopped in. Looked really homey, cozy. The Callos à la Madrileña was soooo good we could not help but swoon after every mouthful. The tripe and meat were very tender and the chorizo slices slightly spicy. The sauce we poured over baguette bread and wiped the plate clean even, haha. Paired it with Spanish potato omelette, mixed salad and voilà! Plus freshly squeezed orange juice. A very satisfying meal especially since prices are so reasonable ! 5.50 euros for the Callos, 3.50 Tortilla Española. Also enjoyed chatting with Florentino, the husband, who is the main cook. Surprisingly, as wiith encounters with other restaurant personnel, he surprised us with a couple of Filipino words! The restaurant started filling up as we were leaving, couples, an entire family of eight( with kids) .... This is definitely a must-try place: good food, very reasonable prices, warm homey ambience, quiet neighborhood. Ps: but NOT for vegetarians haha.
This tapas is a paradise 🥰 everything is so delicious there! And so nice atmosphere and stuff! Always wanted to find this kind of local place.
Great local bar, with delicious food and a really charming couple who own and run the place.
Comfy family bar. Delicious homemade tapas. The owners are a couple and they also serve. I recommend the patatas bravas, the salmon, the tuna salad and the morcilla.
