La Marquesa

Everything was perfect! 🎉🙌🍷 We were on holiday, went to this restaurant after we visited FC Barcelona. It seems there were mostly local people dining, but they speak English and there is an English menu so we didn't have any difficulties in ordering. It seems they have set menu only, but there are so many different dishes to choose from... (there might be supplements to pay) and it's €14.95 for the set that includes starter, main and dessert!! If I go back to Barcelona, I will definitely go back! Thank you so much for the lovely meal and your warm service!!

Very good place for quick lunch.

I stopped by La Nueva Marquesa without huge expectations, and it turned out to be a really solid spot. The atmosphere feels classic Barcelona — nothing too fancy, just comfortable and lively in a natural way. The seafood is clearly the highlight. Everything tasted fresh, especially the grilled fish and shellfish. The flavors are simple and clean, not overly complicated, which I actually appreciated. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients instead of trying to reinvent traditional dishes. Service was friendly and straightforward. It felt like the kind of place locals would come for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends. Not overly touristy, not trying too hard — just good food done well. If you’re in the mood for traditional Spanish seafood in a laid-back setting, La Nueva Marquesa is definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I visited while traveling. The dishes were both generous in portion and very delicious, and we were both extremely satisfied. The restaurant was lively, the staff were very kind, and we were able to fully enjoy Barcelona’s food in a wonderful atmosphere!
