I ordered their menú del día but they served me wayy smaller portions than other local people eating there.

Cool place to stay to have breakfast and maybe even a brunch or lunch. They are kinda foreigner friendly, offering an english menú, but communicating might be hard. The food is good and the prices are very affordable.

For starters, I had a garbanzo bean soup with octopus that was succulent!! However, the main entrée [churrasco with chimichurri] that I ordered was not what I expected. Although I’ve never sent back a dish to the kitchen, this time I did. [I assume] The owner rapidly approached me and asked me what was wrong and offered me to order another dish, which I did and a delicious goulash arrived with a new bread serving. Then, the same person offered me a dessert and recommended me to try the Flan that again was succulent. Finally, politely I was told that the dish that I initially ordered was consistent with the local tradition. Overall the food was extremely good but the service was even better because the person, who was in charge insisted that I must have a good experience and, I did have it awesomely. Obviously, this is a positive review and persuasive recommendation to the restaurant where the food is good and the service is superb!!!

Excellent food, proce and service. Found it by chance in 2019 and looked for it again in 2022.

one of the worst food i have had in barcelona... over fried, too oily and felt like its made from frozen food ... also the waitress just mocked us when we asked for tap water ... definitely not going back...
