La Cava Universal

We are eating at a restaurant that was established in In 1858, we're drinking coffee and we're having croissants. The atmosphere is awesome. The service is outstanding and the people are wonderful. The experience of a lifetime.

I had an excellent breakfast and the coffee was insanely good. The food was great, the service was perfect, and the whole experience felt really enjoyable. I honestly don’t understand why some people leave 2-star reviews for things that have nothing to do with the food or the service. From my visit, everything was truly top-notch. Highly recommended!

We were able to sit here quickly, there was no queue or anything. We ordered the food and it was delicious. The tables En stoelen zijn niet echt geweldig, the tables moved so much that was just annoying. We found the service to be mediocre. If you ask if you can pay, they say 's eja and then the same person comes out but without a receipt and indicates that another person is doing so. Then change has to come and someone else brings it, it just doesn't make sense. We wanted to give a tip but she immediately walked away and so we took the tip back.

Waiting to meet some friends. Cute little cafe at the square Eduardo was our wait person, he was very friendly. Quick service too. We ordered appetizers, Frankfurt and fries. All tasted yummy. Nice to sit, eat and people watch!

This is a great place to have breakfast and people watch! The food was delicious and the location based at the bottom of La Ramblas was perfect. Staff were attentive but also left us to take our time and not rush us once we finished our meals. Prices are based on the location and that was absolutely fine by us - we were able to enjoy the view whilst dining! What a great way to start the day in Barcelona!
