Pastisseria Granja

There were no prices or labels on any of the baked goods when I visited, so i just tried a few things at random. There was a flat crispy chocolate pastry that was nice, and a couple others that were ok. Average prices, average pastries.

Why do people complain about this place?When I read the reviews, I almost didn't dare to go there. But we gave it a try. The first man wasn't very friendly. I think it was due to his lack of English. But I got what we wanted, and for less than €10 (toaster ham/cheese sandwich, pastry, cortado, applejuice). We had a delicious breakfast. The coffee good. I ordered another cortado from a second young man who did speak English and was very friendly. The square is a very pleasant place to sit. So don't take the negative reviews for granted. You can have a nice breakfast here.

Had a nice sandwich with spanish omelett. The ambiente is nice. Food and coffee taste splendid.
