Good News

great location, nice staff. Coffee is not bad. Disappointed by the cleanliness of the establishment. The restroom is so dirty, was in the morning, but the smell, paper is scattered everywhere. as if there was some kind of party there, after which they did not clean for several days. on the street absolutely all the tables are covered in coffee, in dust and dirt.

Honestly I’m so extremely disappointed. I’ve been coming to this place almost everyday for 3 years now . Sitting there for hours and hours . Just for my sister and I to go today and ordered a vanilla matcha , and get extremely rude service . We ordered one vanilla matcha and we went back to him saying there was no vanilla . He insisted there was and put more . We explained that we genuinely cannot taste it . We ordered a second one and the same issue . It tasted like matcha and milk with 0 sweetener . So I approached him so kindly saying I know you put vanilla but I genuinely could not taste it . He got really mad and threw the drink in the sink saying he’s gonna re do it . He does it and calls me over saying come . He shows me that he puts the syrup . I tell him I completely understand that you put it’s just that it’s not enough for what I’m tasting and what any other person would . As I’m speaking he turns his back and leaves and started talking with other people . The way we approached was so gentle and nice . All the other people who work here know us and are always so polite and understanding when something isn’t right . Even the girl working started arguing with me . I kept assuring her why are you defensive there is no need I completely understand I’m here everyday and all I’m saying is you can taste it and you’ll understand . For a higher prices matcha , I expected some more attention especially for a new release .

The service is good, and I don’t know about the coffee but the Chai is very mild :(. Cute spot tho.

Practical take away cafe in Pl. Francesc Macia belonging to GoodNews chain. Wide array of different kind of coffees in many sizes. Some cookies and sweet treats to join your coffee, tea or juice. They have 3 tables on the street but you might have a much better experience if you walk with your beverage till the iconic Turo Park just behind the cafe.

The donut here is immaculate. Probably the best coffee and donut that I’ve ever had in Spain. Highly recommended. Place kinda looks like Blank Street
