My first time in Barcelona (with my mum who'd visited several times before) and we visited El Sol on our final evening. What a fantastic place! It was just round the corner from our AirBnB (so there's a bit of laziness on my behalf) but I'm so glad we stopped. We sat on the patio, I ordered sweet and sour pork and fried rice, my mum had gambas al ajillo (prawns and garlic) - an interesting fusion between tapas and Chinese. I can safely say the sweet and sour pork was the finest I'd ever tasted in 44 years and for my mum to be delighted with the gambas is high praise! The waitresses were lovely, the atmosphere friendly, the prices incredibly reasonable and the whole experience wonderful. Thank you so much for a lovely final evening in Barcelona!

It was a great experience. The food was great and the man who served us was very Nice.

This is a great place to eat and drink and to have an all-around great time! The food is SO greatly prepared and the service I found 5 stars. 100% recommending to my friends! Still great, 2 years later!!!

Good prices and a very friendly waitress.
