Really nice tuna sandwich, very nice and perfect service

After hopping off the Barcelona City tour bus, we saw this coffee shop, it looked really nice and clean so we figured we'd have lunch there. We take a table directly across from the main counter where all the staff and pastries are. A man approaches our table and begins speaking really fast and, to make a long story short, he snatches my dads bag and makes a run for the door! Now, I'm not gonna act like that isn't something that happens in Barcelona, and I am in no way blaming them for the robbery. Where my problem lies is how the staff handled the situation during and after the fact. They stood and watched the whole thing happen, they offered us no assistance, they didn't help us call the police, and even though there were 4 cameras in that area from what i saw, they were unwilling to help us with getting the footage to the authorities. They simply acknowledged they saw the guy, and then proceed to act like nothing happened! We had no idea what to do, we're Canadian, we didnt even know what the number for police was! If it weren't a really nice man that was sitting near us, I dont know what we would have done. For a place where theft is so common, I expected SOME sort of procedure in regards to handling a theft IN their cafe, DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ALL OF THEIR STAFF! Awful employees and worse management!

A trap, ful of thieves, stay away, our backpack was stolen and personnel did zero help, no video records. One old lady sitting beside us said she also was robbed there a short time ago.

Extra expensive prices. 1'40€ one cortado... Excesive even for the area... Well decorated even though
