Chocolate Box

During our stay in Barcelona, we had breakfast at the Chocolate Box every day. We can highly recommend it. The price–performance ratio is excellent. The baguettes as well as the sweet pastries taste very good. Especially the small baguettes are wonderfully crispy and cost only €2.40. The staff were super friendly every single day, which made the experience even better. It’s also a place popular with locals, who regularly stop by to grab their coffee or breakfast. We really enjoyed coming here and would happily return.

the cafe is near the cathedral of Barcelona. we ordered XOCOLATA and two scoops passion fruit and pistachio gelatoes. Both of them are delecious. The xurros not too oily.

Tried the waffles four times and they never disappoint! Soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside—topped with Nutella/Kinder sauce, and vanilla gelato, it’s just perfect. The service is good, the young staff do their best, so be patient..,they can get overwhelmed since the place is always busy. Definitely recommend!
