Cervecería Miranda

A very unpleasant experience. I ordered a coffee to go, paid for it, and while I waited, I had a bottle of water in my hand, which is perfectly normal for a tourist in Barcelona. Without having sat down or ordered anything on the terrace, the waiter rudely and abruptly told me that I couldn't drink water bought outside. It wasn't a friendly or professional explanation, but rather an unnecessary and ill-mannered comment. I understand that a bar has rules, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. There are many places in Barcelona where they know how to treat people better; this isn't one of them. I won't be back.

We had sandwiches and the legendary Patatas Tontas for dinner alone on the terrace overlooking the Torre de la Miranda. Everything was delicious, and being alone made for a great time. I'll come back again.

The best potato and onion omelet I've ever had, plus they always have top-quality tapas, bought fresh from the market...whenever I pass by I always stop for a beer...highly recommended
