A nice place right in the city center, perfect if you’re tired after walking around the old town. Excellent selection of wines and cocktails, plus a small snack menu that pairs nicely with a glass of wine. There’s also great music, curated by one of the bar’s co-owners
We continue to come back for their vermouth promotion, it includes two drinks and tasty olives. The place is super nice with a very unique decoration. There's games you can borrow. The usual male staff is a very nice person.
Local typical tapas bar with swing jazz background music…. And a pleasant surprise. I told the owner… surprise me, I want a drink that is your specialty. He said Sangria… I was not intrigued as that is the typical tourist plunk of bad red wine, sprite and bits of apple and oranges. He told me it was the traditional ‘real’ and ‘authentic’…. (The cynical me thought… I’ll bet, but then again can’t hurt trying. NEVER have I had such simple yet amazing sangria. It is made with wine and fruit and brandy, plus some herbs (clove, cinnamon etc). It is left to macerate for 72 hrs. No soda added…. Strained of all fruit and served chilled. Apparently just a chilled glass of wine. But to the taste buds…. Impressive heaven in a glass. For a connoisseur … simply wonderful! For a non Alcoholic option the refreshing ginger/citric turmeric infusion has real bite. Has Guly recommended.
Loved this little spot! Bornet is perfect for a quick drink with great vibes and even better prices. The atmosphere is super chill, and there always seems to be a funny dog hanging around to keep you entertained—honestly, half bar, half dog show 😄. Staff is friendly, music is good, and it’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned. Ideal for a casual beer or vermut in the heart of El Born. Definitely coming back!
Love the atmosphere. The prices are really good. The staff are very friendly and speak multiple languages including English and Spanish. It’s a great place for a date and it’s in the middle of the Gothic quarter. I love the location and everything about it. The only issue was where I was seated was close to the toilet and the door doesn’t shut when unoccupied
