The best menu in the neighborhood, let alone in BCN!! Small but cozy, they make you feel at home.. The dishes are varied and very good!! Highly recommended if you are in the area and want a lunch menu

I went because it had great reviews online, and I have to admit Montse's kindness was more than evident. The first course, the "patatas a lo pobre" (poor man's potatoes), was very good—not oily at all and flavorful. The second courses were a bit weaker. The sausage, in my opinion, needed a bit more pepper and to be a little more homemade, and the churrasco (grilled meat) was too tough. The set menu is €12, so you can't expect much more, but with their skill in the kitchen, I'm sure I'd rather pay more; we'd all benefit. I'll keep an eye on them because it's a good option.

A classic bar where you feel right at home. From your very first visit, Montse knows exactly how you like your coffee. The sandwiches, both hot and cold, are delicious. They come in three sizes: small, medium, and large. At lunchtime, they serve a set menu, homemade and very good, at a very reasonable price. Although some dishes do run out, you can eat there until 3:00 PM. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stop in and try it.

As a chef what I loved about this place was the daily menu- super clean & fresh food- the oil is so fresh something which often lets a place down- olive oil was full Of flavour- small squid perfectly cooked - garlicky & tasty- chips cooked in olive oil- croquettes beautifully golden & perfect- crème caramel very nice indeed!!! Local place for local people & the odd tourist or non local in the know!!! Both owners husband & wife seem to work hard - the wife never stops!! She is amazing!
