The bacon and cheese sandwich is laughable. It's just one slice of bacon and nothing else. €4.40 - expensive price, and the owner's friendliness is nowhere to be seen.
A long-standing bar where both the service and the tapas are outstanding. It's centrally located and very easy to get to. I'm yet to return to try the patatas bravas.
Homey, neighborhood, old-school place with homemade food and friendly service. We had some tapas and the dedication of the two waiters who served us was evident; they were very attentive to our needs. The homemade croquettes—chicken, ham, and cod—were juicy and delicious. The torreznos (crispy pork belly) from Soria were perfectly fried and sliced. The spicy fried chorizo, served with bread fried in oil, was a taste of those old-fashioned country flavors... We'll be back.
We were really surprised, the beer was very cold and their patatas bravas were delicious!!
The food and the courtesy are beyond question. The place is a bit rustic, but if you're not looking for a 5-star experience, it's fine. Three calamari bites, one potato and onion tart, three beers, a bottle of water, two coffees: €30. An aperitivo that turned out to be a decidedly successful lunch.
