Best Hours for Work
Weekday mornings are the quietest
It’s a neat and modern learning space located on the 8th floor at CentralWorld. It offers a variety of books in both Thai and English. It is a good place to read or study and even take a rest because there is free access to the internet. There is a café inside the learning space. You are also allowed to bring your own water. There’s a kids' area that helps reduce noise in other areas, which makes this place suitable for all ages. It’s not too quiet or stressful, but there’s a quiet room if you want to study quietly. Although it can be quite crowded during peak hours, it’s still one of the best places to study within the mall.
Recently became an annual member. Very satisfied, if you have a long visa, membership is only 200B. To borrow books you need a deposit though. There are many English books and can check the availability online in the app which is great. I like the coffee shop inside which sells quite decent coffee.
It's a public library but unfortunately you need to pay for membership. It's a lot more expensive for foreigners than for locals. Annual membership: residents: 200 baht. Non residents 400 baht. Under 25 years: 100 baht. Day pass 20 baht. It's a nice space. Staff speak English. Generally helpful and friendly. Sometimes it gets crowded here and difficult to find a study space. It's annoying that you need to exit the library to use the restroom. They lend boardgames also which is amazing. They have a lot. But strangely, they do NOT have chess or go. But they have books on how to play chess. Lol. They also have instruments you can learn and a computer room and a silent room. Although the whole library is usually very quiet. The AC is also very good. Not too cold. They do have English literature but no modern classic fiction.
Library in the CBD of Bangkok. Daily pass just only 20THB. If i am not wrong, THB100 for annual member. Lots of book. You can read here or take book back home. There lots of seat and leisure for reading. Also, they providing story telling for kids too!!
Reopened after the the Central World fire incidence years ago, it was great then and even better now 😁, this small but modern library has fantastic selections across many genres. Many facilities, from auditorium, children section, music and so on. Very personal and helpful staff, good layout, spacious, clean and very well maintained. Becoming a member is a must at only 200, but day pass is also possible.
