SHU Cafe

Great little cafe located on the ground floor of the art center. They have some cool paintings and seating for couples and groups. Several people were working on laptops so I assume there are power outlets available too. Food wasn’t too bad at all for a small cafe, we chose the burger and Thai basil pork dish as shown in the pics and a coffee. Wanted a beer but apparently can’t serve till 5:00 in Bangkok now. Anyway coffee is probably better for my senses so enjoyed a great thai coffee.

An art cafe inside a museum. We stayed nearby and just wanna have a quick bite before departing so we came here. Burger is actually not bad and they have good coffee. But their pork basil stir fry is very salty! Even to my standard (I do like salty food). They’re more like self served cafe so you go get your food when it’s ready. The problem is the staff doesn’t speak English so maybe they called for us but we don’t know so our food is left there to get cold..

Worth checking out if you are at the BACC. Free Wi-Fi and cheap snacks. Staff were friendly and food was tasty. Nice little cafe overall.

The food is bad, small, and overpriced. It looks good in the pictures, but in reality it’s completely different 😡 Worst meal we had in Thailand 🤷‍♂️ The only upside is that it was tiny, so we will be hungry again soon 🤣 Don’t eat here unless you’re starving and it’s the only place open 😅 And if you must, the pork burger was not that horrible, but probably the worst of any burger you’d find around 🤷‍♂️

The place is nice. You can take your coffee here after walking aroung the museum. I ordered lasagna too. It's good and the staff is so kind. The area is quiet you can work or read a book here.
