Authentic Thai food. Variety of options. Some dishes can be customized. Offer some international dishes like pasta, sandwiches, pizza and burgers. Some international dishes are Thai infused. Heat can also be adjusted. Recommend: green mango salad, tom yom, papaya salad, green curry salad and durian sticky rice. Suitable for groups.
Not the best setting for a restaurant if you are seated on the outside because walking people can easily touch your table but ok for a quick bite in the Paragon mall, food is adequate but service can be improved, price is reasonable.
I could not leave Bangkok without indulging in my favorite coconut cake and determined to do just that, we visited the Coffee Beans by Dao outlet at Siam Paragon on another day. As we already had our meal elsewhere and were not feeling particularly peckish, we opted for sliced cakes. I finally enjoyed my coconut cake, and it was almost as good as I remembered. Previously, the coconut cake was my favorite among their selection of delectable cakes as it was light and airy, complemented by a rich coconut flavor and was a joy to savour. While the coconut cake was indeed delicious, I developed a greater fondness for the Durian cake as it was better than what I had remembered when i first had it in Singapore.. Nonetheless, I was thoroughly content to have satisfied my cravings. The savoury food at Coffee Beans are very competent and delicious, definitely worth a visit to explore their diverse menu.
Great option for Thai and Thai fusion food. The menu is huge, so there is something for everyone. The portion sizes are great, and the flavours are good value for money.
π½οΈ A Safe Bet for Familiar Flavors β But Service Could Be Warmer We dropped by for a casual meal and tried a few of their classic crowd-pleasers. The Thai Fish Cakes came out golden and crispy, paired with a sweet-spicy cucumber sauce that gave them a fresh lift. The Fried Chicken Wings β crisp on the outside, juicy inside β served with classic sweet chili dip, checked all the boxes for a solid appetizer. Surprisingly, the Seafood Aglio e Olio turned out to be a nice touch β simple pasta, garlicky, with a gentle chili kick and bits of seafood. A fusion dish done right, even if it wasnβt mind-blowing. Overall, everything we ordered was within the expected standard. Well-prepared, decent taste, served fresh. Nothing particularly outstanding, but nothing disappointing either. Howeverβ¦ What took away from the experience was the service. Some of the waitstaff felt less than welcoming β lacking that warm, attentive attitude youβd hope for in a sit-down meal. Not rude, but definitely not the kind of service that makes you want to linger or come back often. π¬ Our Take: β Food: Solid, reliable, as expected. β Presentation: Clean and appetizing. β Service: Could really be improved with friendlier, more service-minded staff.
