☕ CARMINA Coffeehouse: A Touch of European Elegance Stepping into CARMINA feels less like a typical Thai cafe and more like a boutique European bistro. It’s an upscale, "quiet luxury" spot that prioritizes quality over gimmicks. The Highlights • The Aesthetic: The interior features a stunning "Modern Spanish" vibe—warm wood tones, arched doorways, and deep crimson accents (hence the name Carmina). It’s incredibly photogenic but remains classy and cozy. • Specialty Coffee: They don't just serve "coffee"; they curate it. From meticulously pulled espressos to refined pour-overs, the flavor profiles are clean and sophisticated. • Signature Drinks: Keep an eye out for their creative concoctions that often play with seasonal flavors, balanced perfectly so the coffee remains the star. • The Pastries: Their bakery selection is top-tier. The croissants and tarts are buttery, flaky, and pair beautifully with a hot latte.
Small and easy-to-find café with a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The coffee and tea are good, though we didn’t get a chance to try the food yet. One great thing is that they have decaf coffee and alternative milk options.
A Hidden Gem with a Musical Twist This small specialty coffee house is a great find, even if it's best known for a drink I haven't tried yet. The plum coffee is what they're famous for, but I decided to go with the yuzu espresso, and it was a great choice. The espresso shot was fantastic, perfectly complemented by the sweetness and slight sourness of the yuzu. It was a well-balanced and refreshing drink. I visited in the late afternoon, and the place was completely empty, which gave it a cozy, almost private feel. However, the background music was a bit of a shock. The booming bass and heavy beat felt more suited for an aerobics class than a quiet coffee shop. It was a strange contrast to the relaxing atmosphere of the place. Despite the odd music choice, the quality of the coffee is worth a visit. Just be prepared to either wear headphones or get ready to do a few bicep curls to the beat.
Was looking for a place to have some brunch while trying to kill some time and stumbled upon this place. It was a wonderful find, the staff were very friendly and the place nice and clean. For food, had to be one of the best avocado toast I've had, very fresh and just simple goodness. The Yuzu drink was refreshing as well. All in all recommend if you're in the area.
Great coffee shop. We were seated in the second floor. It seems pretty small but the upper level is huge. Nice staff. I had the croissant with avocado and eggs. Pretty tasty. Coffee is good. I had an Americano which was very strong so I asked for hot water to add it. I like the decor.
